Schiavone Park

In 2017, Moore Township purchased approximately 73 acres on Bushkill Drive from Dr. Joseph Schiavone through the Open Space program. In 2019, approximately 61 acres were preserved under the Northampton County Farmland Preservation Program. The Schiavone farm was the 200th property preserved by county program.

In addition to preserving the farmland, the Township created Schiavone Park with help from the Northampton County Municipal Park Development Program. Visitors to the park can catch and release at the two ponds, picnic, or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. The park is located at 797 Bushkill Drive between Bushkill Center Road and SR 512.
